Suppression

Suppression is a status effect that prevents the target from using skills while it is active. Against players, it is a skill-use lock similar to Silence. Against monsters and bosses, Suppression can also interrupt or delay abilities, which makes it valuable for controlling some PvE mechanics.

When a skill or attack can apply Suppression, its Suppression chance is reduced by the target's Resist Suppression. The final chance can be pushed below 0%, which means Suppression cannot apply, or above 100%, which means Suppression always applies.

Suppression is separate from Silence, even though both effects block skill use. Silence is mainly a player-target skill lock, while Suppression can affect monsters and bosses.
