Nipperlug is an independent fan project for Cabal Online tools, calculators, and references. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use nipperlug.com.

We try to collect only what is needed to run the site, keep accounts working, protect the service, and provide optional supporter and sharing features.

We use information to operate the website, provide accounts and saved items, send account-related emails, prevent abuse, improve reliability, measure usage, show ads to non-supporter users, and provide supporter benefits such as ad-free browsing.

We may also use information to investigate errors, enforce limits, moderate public content, respond to requests, maintain backups, and keep the service secure.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and local storage for essential functions such as login sessions, account state, Patreon connection state, tool preferences, saved tool state, and security. Third-party services may also use cookies or similar technologies as described below.

Public Sharing

Saved items are private by default. If you choose to make a build or collection public, anyone with the public share link may view the shared item name and tool data included in that item. Your account email address is not shown on public share pages. You should not include personal or sensitive information in saved item names or shared tool data.

Public comments, replies, and votes may be visible to other users. Public comment displays may include your display name and username. Your account email address is not shown with public comments.

Advertising

Nipperlug uses Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device information, and similar identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, reporting, personalisation where permitted, and fraud prevention.

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for hosting, email delivery, advertising, security, analytics or diagnostics, and Patreon supporter verification. These providers may process data according to their own policies.

Nipperlug may use Cloudflare in front of the website for DNS, security, caching, performance, traffic analytics, and abuse protection. Cloudflare may process visitor IP addresses, request metadata, security events, and cookies or similar identifiers needed for those services.

Patreon and Supporter Features

If you connect Patreon, we may use Patreon account and membership information to apply supporter benefits to your Nipperlug account. Patreon payments, refunds, cancellation, and membership management are handled by Patreon.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the relevant feature, maintain security, handle support, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, or keep backups. You can contact us to request account deletion or data access where applicable.

Some information may remain for a limited time in backups, security logs, email records, or records needed to prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or satisfy legal obligations.

Your Choices

You can clear browser storage through your browser settings, manage Google ad preferences through Google's tools, disconnect third-party services where available, and contact us about your account data.

You can delete your Nipperlug account from the account settings page. Account deletion removes your account, login sessions, saved builds, saved collections, Patreon connection records, and related account data from the active service.

Public comments and replies may be deleted or anonymized when an account is deleted, subject to technical, backup, legal, security, and abuse-prevention requirements.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. We will handle valid requests as required by applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account and service data. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
