Cancel Ignore Penetration

Cancel Ignore Penetration is an offensive stat that reduces enemy Ignore Penetration on a 1:1 basis. This helps your Penetration keep more of its effect against targets that would otherwise reduce it.

How It Works

This interaction works in this order:

• Effective Enemy Ignore Penetration = max(0, Enemy Ignore Penetration - Your Cancel Ignore Penetration)
• Effective Penetration = Your Penetration - Effective Enemy Ignore Penetration

Cancel Ignore Penetration only reduces enemy Ignore Penetration. If your value exceeds the target's Ignore Penetration, the excess does not become additional penetration.

Typical Use

This stat is most useful when your target has enough Ignore Penetration to reduce your effective penetration in a meaningful way. It is generally more valuable on builds that already rely on penetration as an important part of their damage output.
