Knock Back

Knock Back is a control effect that pushes the target away from its position. It can interrupt positioning and movement, although some targets may resist movement even when the effect applies.

On skills, Knock Back is shown as a chance to apply the effect. The target's Resist Knockback lowers that chance, while Ignore Resist Knockback reduces the target's resistance first.

How It Works

Knock Back uses the same control-resist formula as Down and Stun:

  1. The skill provides a base Knock Back chance.
  2. The attacker's Ignore Resist Knockback reduces the target's Resist Knockback.
  3. The remaining Resist Knockback subtracts from the Knock Back chance as flat points.
  4. The final chance is limited between 5% and 95%.

  • Skills: Some attack skills can apply Knock Back.
  • Monster attacks: Some monsters and bosses can apply Knock Back.

Notes and Tips

  • Movement disruption: Knock Back is strongest when moving the target matters.
  • Visible movement can vary: Bosses and special targets may resist or ignore the movement part even when the control check exists.
