Ignore Resist Down

Ignore Resist Down is an offensive stat that reduces enemy Resist Down percentage before Down crowd control application is calculated. It prevents opponents from resisting your knockdown attempts, but cannot lower target resistance below 0%.

How It Works

When you attack a target:

1. Your Ignore Resist Down reduces the target's Resist Down
2. The target's remaining Resist Down cannot go below 0
3. The remaining Resist Down is subtracted from your base Down chance

This ordering means Ignore Resist Down is most effective when the target has significant Resist Down to strip away. If the target has no Resist Down, stacking Ignore Resist Down provides no benefit for the Down portion of your attacks.

• Honor Medal: Honor Medal rolls can provide Ignore Resist Down, up to +5%.

Notes and Tips

• Subtracts from Resist Down first: Ignore Resist Down reduces the target's Resist Down stat, which is then subtracted from base Down chance. It does not bypass Resist Down directly.
• Cannot create negative resist: If your Ignore Resist Down exceeds the target's Resist Down, the target's remaining Resist Down is floored at 0, not pushed into negative values.
• Works best against high Resist Down targets: The stat only matters when the target has Resist Down to strip. Against targets with no Resist Down, this stat has no effect on Down chance.
