Resist Skill Amp is a universal defensive stat that reduces enemy Sword Skill Amp, Magic Skill Amp, and All Skill Amp on a 1:1 basis. It is counteracted by attacker Ignore Resist Skill Amp and cannot reduce effective skill amp below 0%.

Essence Rune: Resist Skill Amp provides up to +5%
Progression Systems: Collection, Achievements, Honor Medal, Platinum Merit, Myth Level, and Pets can provide Resist Skill Amp
Class and Battle Systems: Battle Aura and some class passive skill enhancements can add Resist Skill Amp
Temporary Buffs: Platinum Buff and other defensive buffs can provide Resist Skill Amp

In PvP content, PvP Resist Skill Amp is added to your base Resist Skill Amp.

General Amp Resistance: It applies to both sword and magic skill damage
Countered by Ignore Resist Skill Amp: Attackers can reduce it before it takes effect
Most Noticeable Against High-Amp Targets: It matters more when the attacker relies heavily on skill amp
